Why us?

Paws down, Sunset Veterinary Clinic is Edmond’s Favorite Veterinary Clinic

Pets are family, too!

Whether you have a dog that greets you at the door with sloppy kisses, or a cat that warms your feet in bed at night, pets add life and love to your home. The vets and staff at Sunset Veterinary Clinic understand this. We treat our four-legged patients with the same respect, love and care you expect from your family doctor. We are here to help you build a lifelong relationship with your four-legged family members by keeping them in the best health possible through every stage of life. Our mission here at Sunset is to promote your pet’s wellness by preventing disease before it happens. We love helping you have a quality relationship with your furry friend. We call that the human-animal bond.

We’ll help keep your pet in tip-top shape, avoiding problems before they happen, by putting together a wellness plan for regular exams and vaccinations. If your pet does get sick, we’ll jump into action with the best practices in pet medicine.

Bring your pet in for a visit when you need:

  • Wellness care: Get an annual physical check-up for your pet. We’ll check on every aspect of your pet’s health and take time to talk with you about any of your questions or concerns. Annual exams are important for catching problems in the earliest stage possible.
  • Help with abnormal behavior, such as excessive sleeping, eating and drinking too much or too little, or changes in personality.
  • New pet care advice
  • External/internal parasite control
  • In-house diagnostic laboratory facilities and lab referrals
  • Routine surgical procedures, including spaying and neutering cats and dogs
  • Geriatric health care
  • Diagnosis and treatment of disease or health issues
  • Digital radiology (x-rays)
  • Prescribing and supplying special diets
  • Health certificate for travel
  • Pet ID microchipping

“Tim Kennemer is the best veterinarian in Oklahoma. The entire staff is excellent at Sunset and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am very picky on who I bring my fur babies to but Sunset Veterinary Clinic is the absolute greatest.”
“All the vets at sunset are amazing!!! The staff always greets people and their furry babies with a smile. They have taken care of my babies for over 12 years. My current baby Logan, loves going there! He gets spoiled and when we go there Logan thinks he is going to be kenneled and wants to go to his ‘private’ suite right then and there! I highly recommend them.”
Gregoria Smith, New York
“All the staff love my puppies as much as I do! They are always so happy and friendly. When I have to board my girls, I know they are taken care of as well as I take care of them! I never worry about leaving them there. And, they bath them before I pick them up. I feel like they go above and beyond in caring for my pets.”
